Paper Cranes



This is Camille's crane. There are thousands and thousands of cranes all over the Peace Park. It was a special moment adding hers to the display.

The Peace Monument in Hiroshima has many parts. These gates have "peace" written in several languages. If you get a chance, go there early on a sunny morning for a unhurried chance to think about possibilities.


Everyone of a certain age has a story. No eyes were dry as we heard the story this granddaughter of a Hibakusha told on our visit to the Honkawa Elementary School
