I learned about grouting today. It is a labor intensive process.
Just a bit to do and we will have a kitchen, at last!

Back-splash

I know I promised myself to spend today writing, but it was the perfect time to start, and finish step one of the back-splash.

Note the tiles that Martha Carbo made for us. If you want a close up of her artwork, see the Word/Art entry at the beginning of December.

I have to let it be for a while before going ahead with the grouting, and it will need some work from the "finisher" when he feels up to it. But this should be a nice "Welcome Back to Reality" surprise.
