Persimmons and Camillias


We have a truckload of persimmons this year. Even after the birds and squirrels get their fill, I'll have lots to make that persimmon bread everyone is expecting for Christmas.

Maybe even some left over for persimmon chutney.

Camillias always look so fragile to be blooming in the middle of what should be winter. This is an early bloomer. The season gets lively after the first of the year and into February.
