Tokyo Tower was only a block from the hotel. If we took a walk and got lost, or got off one subway stop too soon, we could, in theory, look for the tower. It was one of those sometimes you see it, sometimes you don't sort of landmarks. Made for some nice old Tokyo/ new Tokyo sort of pix though.
